Modern Day Armour

Introducing my best buy for this ending summer. I picked up what might just be my must uncomfortable jacket of which’s wear I’ve apparently have been postponing until fashion week (the week where you should dig out your most uncomfortable pieces.) Patent is always a good one if we are discussing the opposite of snuggly pieces, the modern woman’s armour I like to call it. Not only is it likely to bounce off bullet’s but packs enough attitude to keep the unnecessary pick-up lines at bay. That is of course until you over do it and become the main target for desperate pick-up lines, you all know who I am referring to right?

So this high-street wonder has travelled with me the whole summer, only for me to realise it really requires a time and a place to ‘work’. On this day rain was my main motivator, turns out patent in all forms is the most stylish rain guard. The shoes on the other hand, the 3kg per shoe shoes, have not exactly been living in my hand luggage. Clumsy yes, but one of my most wearable pair (bearing in mind that most of my shoes are stilettos). The weird and wonderful Stella platforms has somehow become a key item of my wardrobe. So good, I have them in two colours and counting. So good that I am getting ready to praise them for the upcoming shoe of the month.
