Scandinavia’s fashion capital kicked off fashion week season with a array of colourful ensembles. Show attending guests opted for their most unapologetic accessories in the form of sparkly boots, highlighter neon pumps and platforms boots. Sock boots also made a surprise return, without forgetting some seasonal it-shoes like Bottega Veneta wellies and Valentino chunky boots. Here we list the week’s most inspiring shoe choices.
Stella McCartney’s sparkly Lurex boots made waves early on in the season and makes the perfect fashion week shoe. Embellished boots grew into a unexpected trend during the lockdowns and continues as one of the most dominant styles within the fashion crowd. Dressed up or down – these are instant eye-catchers.

Colour-blocking in the most shocking way, bright pumps was the unofficial fashion week shoe of Copenhagen. Shocking pink was the instant mood booster, paired with other brights that not even rain could stop.

Bottega Veneta’s ‘Puddle’ wellies was in high rotation, offering a more practical shoe for the wet streets. The wellies that has grown into a Bottega signature, comes in numerous bright colours as well as a high boot and sandal for the warmer weather.

Balenciaga’s signature sock boots made a return to the streets, mainly through the Gucci x Balenciaga collaboration that dropped late last year.
