The London brand is quickly making a name in the shoe world for its sky-high platforms and flair for decadence.

As life and socialising resume, shoe designers have been turning the dial on sparkle, electric colour, and sky-high platforms.

There’s a real appetite to show off, indulge in decadence and celebrate – which is why up-and-coming label D’Accori is having a real moment in the shoe world and seeing its star rise.

The brand is all about shiny metallics, rows of crystals, and chunky platforms, so it couldn’t be more fitting for the current fashion mood. It even comes with a warning: “D’Accori designs are not for the faint-hearted nor the mundane, and they will definitely turn heads.”

Indeed, its signature ‘Belle’ platform sandals, which feature curved heels, chunky platforms, metallic leathers and glittery galore, are made for the boldest of dressers, ready to dance the night away in those shoes. The brand’s founder after all, Mo D’Accori, started his career designing shoes for the likes of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé so he knows a thing or two about making a statement.

D’ Accori, whose collections are designed in London and hand-crafted in Florence, also offers satin heeled boots, sexy lace-up sandals in bold pinks or purples, and leopard-print ankle boots. In other words there’s a party spirit and a flair for maximalism in everything the brand puts out there.

If you’re in the mood to go out and indulge in high, statement heels again this is a name to know. You can shop the range on daccori.com and get better acquainted with the brand’s opulent world on its Instagram feed, which is filled with artistic campaign images of the Belle platforms as well as feel-good design images, from all-pink interiors to images of crystal party wear and extra large diamonds.

Just what the doctor ordered post-lockdown.
