London’s favorite concept store will be your go-to store for destination-themed edits, feel-good fashion and one-of-a-kind shoes.

This fall you can – conveniently – get a taste of Eastern Europe without boarding a plane.

All you need to do is follow Koi Bird – London’s favorite concept store – on Instagram or for locals, go down to its Marylebone store —which has been transformed into an Eastern European grandmother’s living room just for the occasion.

Apart from the charming floral-print wallpapers and vintage-inspired furniture, you’ll find an edit of some of the most interesting Eastern European designers like Materiel Tbilisi, Anouki, George Keburia and more.

There are also some particularly exciting new additions on the shoe front: The store is carrying new fall 2021 collections by Polish-favorite Magda Butrym and the up-and-coming Georgian brand Mach and Mach, which took the fashion world by storm last Paris Fashion Week with its sparkly, candy-colored creations.

The young label is still a bit of an insiders’ secret and not yet widely distributed, so Koi Bird’s store or website will make the perfect destination for shoe aficionados wanting first dips.

What’s even better is that the store transforms every season, with its stylish founder and creative director Belma Gaudio – a former financier turned fashion entrepreneur- picking different destinations or themes every six months and taking customers on a journey with unique in-store buys and out-there interiors.

Before traveling across Eastern Europe, the store had transformed into a tie-dye, LA-themed haven; it painted its entire storefront pink and designed the chicest beach-themed destination in the heart of London; and most recently it celebrated African designers, with vibrant store interiors and a curated edit featuring the likes of Thebe Magugu and Maxhosa Africa.

All-in-all a must-follow if you want to get inspired, feel optimistic and discover one-of-a-kind items that you’ll be the only one in the room wearing.
