Jimmy Choo has just revealed its new collection for the upcoming fall 2022 season and it’s everything any shoe lover could wish for – and some more.

Creative director Sandra Choi amped up the glamour and the sparkle more than any other season, delivering a range full of feel-good, decadent pieces that will be hard to resist once they hit the shop floors later this year.

Think crystals, plush velvets and a “hyper femme” colour palette of candy pinks, all coming together to herald the return of glamour, socialising, and living in the moment.

“Energetic, dynamic, free – the idea for autumn was to explore silhouettes and shapes, propose new proportions and volumes, create something true to us, yet fresh and still anchored within the codes of our brand,” said Choi.  “Our woman – an urbane goddess –  is walking with the Jimmy Choo attitude. We engineered shoes with today’s high-speed world in mind and an equal measure of sensuality and wearability.”

It’s why she chose styles such as high boots, or pointed-toe pumps which enhance and flatter a woman’s body. There’s also plenty of kitten heel options – featuring snake-effect or sexy mesh panels so as not to compromise glamour – and wedge-heeled boots that are as comfortable as they are extravagant.

In fact, a version of the ‘Baku’ platform boot featuring all-over crystal embellishments has already gone viral on Instagram. A pair of high platform sandals featuring the same metallic blue crystals and a miniature disco ball embellishment across the toe straps was another highlight.

The ‘more is more’ attitude continued throughout the collection, which also featured stilettos in shocking pink; platform sandals and boots in rich velvets; and classic pumps revamped with crystal chains, tassels or fringes.

While the focus was all the joyful part shoes, Choi made sure to also add an array of flat boots to the collection to cater to women’s day-to-day needs too. There were elegant suede or white leather ankle booties featuring the smallest of kitten heels – a chic option for those returning to the office – as well as biker boots galore offered in suede, matte, and glossy leathers.

“This is how we create: Proposing a fantasy but always with real life at the core,” added the designer.
