When Malone Souliers announced plans to partner with Netflix on a Bridgerton-themed shoe capsule, it sent waves of excitement all across the internet.
You could just imagine the delicious frills, the decadence, and the sumptuous colours that could result from such a creative tie-in.
And now the wait is over: the Regency-inspired collection has just landed on Malone Souliers’ website, London store, and some of the best retailers around the world, from Bergdorf Goodman in New York, to Harvey Nichols in Dubai and Flannels in the U.K.
The result did not disappoint. Creative director Mary Alice Malone has reimagined brand favorites like the Maureen and the Frankie pumps in floral jacquards and lace mesh fabrics referencing the opulent costumes Daphne Bridgerton and the rest of the cast are seen in.
A pair of flat Marguerite pumps, featuring a delicate velvet bow and empire-line silhouette, pay homage to the empire waist dresses the hit Netflix series made popular. Other highlights include the Marion high-heeled slingbacks featuring floral appliqués and crystal embellishments and the Sonia sandals which are adorned with cobalt blue feathers – all in honor of the show’s flair for drama and the most decadent balls.

But you can also easily see the shoes fitting into 2022 and modern-day social occasions, when styled with sleek tailoring or even denim.
“I’m so excited to bring this collection to the world with a Bridgerton-worthy level of drama. We had a huge amount of fun designing this collection and getting inspired by the show’s incredible costumes so I wanted to capture some of that energy,” said Malone. “I can’t wait to see the shoes turning heads as they step out in public this spring.”
An accompanying campaign shows the shoes, styled with swoon-worthy ball gowns and dramatic jacquard tailored jackets with trains, all in the spirit of celebrating “individuality, confidence and the empowering magic of the grand entrance.”
