Piferi Paints Harrods Shoe Heaven Pink

The new vegan shoe label just debuted its pop-up at Harrods shoe heaven.

The former head designer of Jimmy Choo – Alfredo Piferi launched his footwear brand at the beginning of this year, with the aim of offering shoes that were as sustainable as they were sexy and desirable. 

His modern vision and commitment to sustainability – he only uses vegan leathers and upcycled materials – clearly struck a record in today’s market. Despite the year’s challenges, the label has kept on growing and is made its debut in Harrods Shoe Heaven in-store and online

The brand is taking over the main pop-up space at the center of the department store’s famous Shoe Heaven, with its signature stiletto heels showcased on a large baby pink display, complete with swathes of candy pink material in the shape of clouds.

“It still feels unbelievable and I’m grateful for all the people that supported me and made my pink dream a reality,” said the designer, who is best known for his curved heel and flair for minimalist silhouettes, such as barely there sandals, architectural pumps or sock boots, mostly done in neutral colors. 

More retailers are following in Harrods’ footsteps and snapping up Piferi’s creations – many going as far as to single out the brand and its ability to marry sustainability with luxury, as one of the most important launches of the year. Piferi shoes will also be launching at Browns, Level Shoes in Dubai and Pedder Group in China later in the year, as well as the brand’s soon-to-launch e-commerce platform.
