Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has designed a second shoe capsule with Florentine shoe label Gia Borghini.
Building on the success of the first collection, which was all about modernist shapes, sculptural sandals and Huntington-Whiteley’s signature neutral color palette, the new collection will offer more minimalist sandal options – clearly you can never have enough – and some new boot styles for fall 2021.
Sharing a first look on her popular Instagram page, Huntington-Whiteley teased a pair of burgundy lace-up sandals that had a sexier feel than last season’s styles with straps that go up to the knee. There’s also plenty of white, beige, and glossy black leather options featuring the cone-shaped stiletto or sleek wedge heel that have become a signature of the range.
But most of the excitement and the newness will be around the two new boot styles in the collection. This is the first time the supermodel is trying her hand at boots but she clearly knows her stuff: The collection features a very cool flat style done in buttery, cream leather and featuring a small flatform that adds a tougher edge. There’s also a pair of heeled sock boots, made of a sleek and stretchy material and channeling a more fierce, evening-appropriate look.
In a campaign image she teased last month, Huntington-Whiteley paired the sock boots with a mini blazer dress to create an elegant, ‘I mean business’ kind of image.

The collection launches today, exclusively on Mytheresa.com. Judging from the popularity of last season’s drop – everyone from Instagram’s favourite influencers to fellow supermodel Shanina Shaik, and hairstylist-to-the-stars Jen Atkin were seen in it – styles will be selling out fast.
Gia Borghini has really put itself on the luxury footwear map in the last few years, by collaborating with stylish, highly-followed women like Huntington-Whiteley or Danish content creator Pernille Teisbaek. Earlier this year, Teisbaek was also named the label’s new creative consultant and will be working closer with founder Barbara Borghini to elevate the brand’s visual identity further and create mainline collections.
